Can anyone recommend best type of breed w small children? We grew up with a labrador, but I was wondering about a smaller dog. Any views? thx

I think the dog's master/mistress is at least as important as the breed of dog. Okay, so maybe a Rottweiler isn't the best choice (now I'll have the Rottweiler lobby on my case!), but within reason, any normal breed of dog will be good with kids if you treat the dog properly (which doesn't mean spoiling it).
